Q2070 DEBANDER
Pearson's Q2070 Debander is designed to automatically remove and dispose of plastic hold-down bands from pallet loads of empty beverage containers. The machine can cut and dispose of up to 8 bands in 2 minutes.

Designed to Perform
Designed to handle multiple pallet banding configurations, the Q2070 debands the plastic strapping from wooden or plastic pallets with tops, with up to four bands running in each direction. Once the bands are cut, they are brought to a chopper. The chopped pieces are discharged down a chute for disposal. An automatic scan is done to ensure that all of the bands have been removed before the pallet of containers is taken away.

The Q2070 can quickly adjust to new band configurations with a no-tool changeover. The machine is designed for attendance-free operation and has pass through capability. If a jam is detected, the machine automatically stops to allow for operator intervention.
